Day by Day Itinerary

Today, we are departing early, as we need to catch a bus at 7:00 am. To ensure we have enough energy for the day ahead, we will be having breakfast at the hotel before setting off. The bus ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara will take approximately 7 hours and will take us along the Prithibi Highway. The journey will be enjoyable, as we will be able to take in the sights of traditional houses, terraced fields, rivers, bridges, and much more.

Pokhara is a stunning city, surrounded by majestic mountains and home to over three beautiful lakes. After a long day of traveling, we will be spending the night at a hotel in Pokhara. Get ready to relax and soak up the breathtaking scenery that this city has to offer.

Following a delicious breakfast at the Pokhara Hotel, we will embark on a private vehicle journey to Nayapul, located approximately 42 km away. Our trek begins as we head into the valley and continue on to Hille Thikhedunga.

Once we arrive at Nayapul, we will follow the picturesque nature trail along the Modi river, passing through Birethati before finally reaching Hille Thikhedunga. This 3-hour trek will be a leisurely stroll, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the sounds of the river. Get ready to be transported to a peaceful world as you take in the sights and sounds of the trail.

Today's trek will be a long one, but we will be rewarded with breathtaking sights and experiences along the way. The first three hours of walking from Hille will be a gradual ascent, taking us to Banthati where we can take a break and enjoy a cup of tea. From there, we will follow a small trail into a lush, green valley surrounded by forest.

After a short walk of approximately 1.30 hours, we will reach Nangethati, our lunch destination. After refueling, we will continue uphill for another 1.30 hours through the forest to reach Ghorepani. This wonderful Poon and Magar village is surrounded by forest and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks. It is a popular trekking route in Nepal and is home to many lodges.

Tonight, we will be staying at a hotel in Ghorepani, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. Get ready for an unforgettable experience and some much-needed rest after a long day of walking.

Wake up early this morning for a once-in-a-lifetime experience - watching the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. We will begin our hike at 4:30 AM, making our way up the steep 50-minute ascent to the top of Poon Hill. This summit is located on top of a massif mountain, offering breathtaking views of the sunrise.

After spending 20 minutes admiring the view, we will head back down to Ghorepani for breakfast before continuing on to Tadapani. The first hour of walking will be a steep ascent through a rhododendron forest, followed by an easy, gradual 40-minute walk to Deurali. This small area has two tea houses, where we can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

From Deurali, we will make our way down through the forest and follow a small nature trail to Banthanti, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will continue on with a mix of easy, gradual walking and steep downhill sections, eventually reaching the river. The final 35-minute climb will take us to Tadapani.

This day is filled with a wide range of natural wonders, including breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna, jungle walking, and the chance to see some wild animals and waterfalls. We will stay overnight in Tadapani, a small area with several lodges to choose from. Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure and natural beauty.

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast at the lodge, we embark on our journey to Sinuwa. The path begins with a narrow trail surrounded by stunning Rhododendron and oak forests for about an hour until we reach Chile village. The trail then widens and becomes steep as we head towards the river. At the river, we cross the bridge and embark on a steep 20-minute walk to the Gurjung village.This village is renowned for its agriculture, where crops such as millet, paddy, potatoes, and barley are grown. From Gurjung, we follow a small trail that leads us to Durbin Danda and enjoy a leisurely flat walk to Chhomrung, which takes about 2 hours. After a tasty lunch in Chhomrung, we head down for 30 minutes and then climb uphill for 40 minutes to reach the other side of Chhomrung and finally Sinuwa village. We will spend the night at a lodge in Sinuwa.

The Himalaya village offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges and lush green valleys. It is the perfect place to stop and appreciate the natural beauty of the Annapurna region. After a long day of trekking, you can unwind and recharge at one of the cozy lodges in the village. Enjoy a warm meal and take in the breathtaking views as you relax in your comfortable room.

The next day, you will continue your trek, eager to discover more of the stunning landscapes and cultural experiences that the Annapurna Base Camp Trek has to offer. Get ready for another day filled with breathtaking vistas and thrilling adventures!

Today we'll be starting our day with an early breakfast before we embark on our journey towards MBC. The trail follows alongside a river, but it's important to note that the trail can be treacherous, so we need to pay attention to the safe path. The trail leading to MBC is generally uphill but it's a gradual ascent, so the journey should be comfortable. The views of the towering mountains will be breathtaking every step of the way. After reaching ABC, we'll be spending the night at an ABC lodge. It's important to keep in mind that the trail leading to MBC can be hazardous and we should take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe journey.

After starting the day with a nutritious breakfast, we will begin our trek from Base Camp towards Bambo, which is located at an altitude of 2350 meters. This trek is known for its breathtaking scenery, including towering peaks and lush green forests. We will follow a well-trodden trail that leads us through the heart of the forest, where we can observe the local flora and fauna, and take in the fresh mountain air. As we make our way uphill, we will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

The trail may be challenging in some areas, but with a moderate pace and a determined spirit, we will reach Bambo in no time. Our journey will culminate with an overnight stay at a local lodge, where we can rest, relax and reflect on the day's adventure.

Our trek from Bamboo to Jhinu begins with a steep ascent for 30 minutes, after which the trail becomes an easy and gradual downhill walk through the forest. We'll be retracing our steps from the way up, so from Sinuwa we'll start with a steep descent to the bridge, which takes about 40 minutes. From there, it's a 40-minute climb to Chhomrung, followed by a 40-minute steep descent to Jhinu, where we'll spend the night. After settling into our lodge and dropping off our bags, we'll take a short hike to the natural hot springs, which is a 10-minute downhill walk followed by a 25-minute ascent.

Today, we will continue to be surrounded by stunning mountain views and breathtakingly wide, green valleys to the west. Our trek will begin with a 20-minute downhill walk from Jhinu, followed by a short hike over the bridge to the other side of the hill. The path will then continue with an easy, gradual downhill walk to a new bridge near a small lodge area. We will then cross the same river again via a long suspension bridge and continue our journey towards Landruk, a large Gurung village with over 1000 residents. This will be our lunch stop before taking a one-hour walk along the road to reach Tolka, a peaceful and picturesque village.

Today marks the end of our journey through the mountains, and it's time to bid farewell to the friendly locals we've met along the way. Despite the many days of walking, we'll still be able to enjoy breathtaking mountain views all the way back to Phedi. Our route today mostly follows the road, but it has many turns and takes us through lush forests. We'll reach Pothana, where we'll need to check out our conservation permit, and then continue down the hill for an hour to reach the charming village of Dhampus. From there, we'll have another hour-long downhill walk to reach Phedi, followed by a 30-minute drive back to Pokhara. We'll spend the night in Pokhara and enjoy a farewell dinner and perhaps even hit the town for a celebration.

Rewritten: We will start our journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu early in the morning by taking a bus from Rastra Bank Chok, which is a 20-minute walk from the Lakeside area in the east. The bus ride will be approximately 7 hours long and will have two stops along the way. We will be travelling on the same highway as before, when we made our way to Pokhara. We will spend the night in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Visiting Nepal for the first time was a great experience and having never trekked before I had no idea what to expect. Great trekking Experience with Santosh!

Santosh has been recommended to us by friends and we are happy that we followed their recommendation! In October 2013, he organized 10 days trekking to the Annapurna region for us, which was great! Everything was well organized and right from the moment, we arrived in Kathmandu. He took care of us as a friend and invited us to his family to join in the Dasain festival celebrations and get a great feel for Nepali village life. Santosh knows a lot about all the different cultures and religions in Nepal and his English is excellent, which makes it very easy to communicate. He and his friend, our porter Ramesh, took good care of us during the trekking and were good company to drink a rum or beer within the evenings. When required, he changed the program when we were too tired or it was raining, always continuing to motivate us to reach base camp. He even went ahead to ensure that we would have room to sleep in, which is quite a challenge during the busy touristic season as we have seen many tourists sleeping on tables and in the kitchen. We would recommend Santosh to anyone traveling to Nepal!!

This was my first time I was traveling alone, and in the case of Asia it was my first time, I was worried a little bit cause I was alone but when I met Santosh I did not feel alone he helped me all the time, as a guardian in the family, he is so kind. Thank you so much Santosh for your kind behavior to me, we went trekking in the Annapurna Region, it was so nice to be there because the view was really close and wonderful from base camp and from Ghorepani. I felt like I was on a different planet. I was not expecting many services in the mountain but it was different really I had a good hotel, good food, the view, people, it was just so nice to be there with my guide Santosh.
