The second day of our short Jomsom Muktinath Trek 5 days starts with the scenic flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. The flight is 30 minutes long and takes you to an altitude of 2743 meters. We will leave Pokhara after a hefty breakfast. The flight to Jomsom is a short and scenic flight.

Pokhara to Jomsom flight provides you with great views of the city of Pokhara with the lakes showing the way. The city of beautiful lakes looks even more beautiful. Also, the flight has a great view of the mountains and the landscapes to keep you mesmerized throughout the flight.

You will reach Jomsom for lunch. There are many things to do in the small village of Jomsom. One of the famous attractions in the Jomsom region is the Marpha village with apple orchards. The products from the region are immensely popular. Also, you have the rest of the day to explore the region. You can explore the Jomsom Bazaar with a wide range of products and objects of the region made by locals. Over Night Stay in Jomsom.

The journey to the sacred temple of Muktinath awaits us on the third day of our Jomsom Muktinath Trek. This day is highly anticipated as we embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek from Jomsom to Muktinath.

The trek, covering a distance of 16.7 km, will take us through rugged, rocky terrain that characterizes the lower Mustang region. Despite the strenuous nature of the trek, the breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range will keep us motivated and inspired. With proper rest and hydration, we are expected to reach the temple within 5-6 hours.

At 3710 meters above sea level, Muktinath is a religious hub that attracts pilgrims and devotees from all over the world. You can reach the temple either by climbing a long staircase or by taking a horse ride from a side trail.

The trek from Muktinath to Jomsom is roughly 5-6 hours long and can be a bit tiring, but the stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range will keep you going. The trek will take you through the same rough rocky terrain as the previous day, but this time you will have a different perspective as you retrace your steps.

Along the way, you will have plenty of opportunities to take breaks and take in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.
