Accommodation during Students Tours

Tea house and Local lodges will be the Accommodation during students' tour in Nepal. The room size will now quite small compared to the city Hotel but it is wide enough to keep your bags and to sleep. There is only little furniture inside the room such as twin beds, a small tea table, windows, basic carpet, and curtain on the windows. You will have a comfortable mattress, pillows, Rom key, and warm blankets to sleep, but the bathroom will be shared with other trekkers. Toilets will be two different styles, mostly western toilets, and squat style. There will be a gas hot shower generally at sharing a bathroom, but that is payable charge about $2 per shower.

Meals during Students Tours

There are quite some choices for food generally western food, Indian foods, and Nepali foods that you can have while you are trekking. Breakfast and Dinner will be served in the Tea house every day, but lunch will be provided middle of the day at a small restaurant. You can have also drinks while you are eating, tea, coffee, beer, hard drink, or Water. The cost of food in the mountain does not so cheap compared to the city, but still reasonable compare to your home town, for example, one main course costs about $4 to $9 US.

Day by Day Itinerary

I will provide you comfortable Car/Jeep to pickups you and if you are happy if I pickups myself, I will be there in an Airport with your name to pickups you then I will drop you to your respective Hotel. When you checked into the Hotel you can have some rest, and we can re meet for trip discussion and payments than we are prepared for the trip. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

We're going to go to Pokhara by tourist standard Bus which leaves from Kantipath Jamal, Kathmandu. After we finished our breakfast at the hotel we will go to the Bus station before 7 am. The Drive will be so Scenic and green lush valley view most of the time. You will enjoy entire driving hours, which about 7 hours to reach Pokhara. Once we reach in Pokhara still we will have some time, so if you are happy to explore around, we can walk along the lake and explore Pokhara by foot.

We will get our breakfast in the hotel and drive to Phedi by private vehicles, it is about 18 km drive to the west of Pokhara than we will reach Phedi, it is where we begin our walking towards the beautiful Dhampus village. We start to walk from Phedi we have to follow the small trail which is a stone made steps straight up till Dhampus village which is about 2 hours walk. There will be wonderful landscapes, valley view, traditional houses along the way Dhampus is a massif Gurung and the other mixed ethnicities village. When we pass Dhampus village the rail will be smooth up which is easy and the best part because you can see all Annapurna ranges Mountain View to the north direction. We will walk about another 2 hours to reach Pothana. Overnight at Pothana. Pothana is a small area got only 7 lodges but it is situated on the top of the mountain it means we can see the best panoramic view.

After hot and healthy breakfast from the local lodge at Pothana, we start to walk to reach this day's destination Ghandruk. It is 6 hours walk, but within 6 hours we will be exploring so many things because the walking route going through traditional houses, Terrace paddy and millet field, temples, waterfalls, river, suspension bridge and snow cam Mountain View to the right direction. The walking route will be steeply up at the beginning from Pothana till Pitam Deurali, which is located at 2100 m than trails descending straight through the forest about 15 minutes and continue to follow the off-road to Landruk. Landruk is a massive Gurung village where we will stop for lunch and continue down to the river and straight up to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the biggest Gurung village in Kaski district and popular village for Annapurna trek. There are many Gurung people who are working as a soldier in the UK, and India. Overnight at Ghandruk village.

We begin our day after breakfast as usual and follow the small rail to the north side of Ghandruk. The first 1-hour walk going to be gradually up through the tropical forest and waterfalls. It is short walk Day but it is a day, we might see some wild animals such as Deers, Langoor Monkey, Thar and much colorful Bird. The walking trail will be Gradual about an hour than climbing up to Bhaishikharka, where we can have some rest or cup of Tea then continue up to Tadapani through the Forest. Tadapani is small area got only 7 small tea houses, but it is situated on top of the hill. The view of Annapurna South and Fishtail will be insane fro the yard of your Lodge.

It is the slightly hard day because most of the time we have to walk up through the forest and moose decorated mountains around, but it is one of the best days to explore high mountain, open and clear panoramic view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range, pine forest, and some wild animals. The first and last 30 minutes of day 6 will be descending, but the rest of the time about 4 to 5 hours we have to climb through the rhododendron forest and pine forest. We reach Ghorepani the view will be still there all around, especially in the morning the view from Ghorepani will be unbelievable. Overnight in the lodge.

Day 7th is the main day of this trip because you will be on top of Poon Hill view tower, which is located at 3210 m and the view of many mountains will be easily seen from there plus a clear sky in the early morning. It is about 50-minute steep climb, but such a heaven when you are there. After wonderful views, we go back to the Ghorepani hotel via same (way) than eat some food than descending straight to Hille about 5 hours through the forest and some Magar villages. Overnight stay in the local lodge.

It is last walking days of this trek and also it is easy walking day because there is nice road and a short distance about 3 hours walk only so after Nayapul we get a private Taxi /Jeep and back to Pokhara Hotel. Overnight in Pokhara and relax near the Phewa Lake with some Drink and Tea.

After breakfast in Pokhara Hotel, we will take the early bus to Kathmandu from Rasta bank check which is a 30-minute walk from the lakeside area and 5-minute Drive by Taxi. It is whole 7 hours drive to Kathmandu including two stops for food. Overnight at Kathmandu Hotel.

I will drop you by private Car/Jeep for you to the airport at a punctual time you fly.

Essential Information

​Student Tours Accommodation:

The Accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be a 3-star categories' hotel including breakfast and during the trek, you will get a private, clean $ Sharing hot shower. In your room, there will be a twin sharing bed basically, but at your request, we can change it in the city or mountain. If you want to add an extra bed in a city or mountain the cost will be added as it rules for hotel management. However, the Accommodation of students' tour in Nepal will be comfortable, warm, clean & private.

​About food for Students Tour

The food will be served every settlement where you will stay during the trek. Breakfast and dinner will be served at your Tea House lodges during the trek but you Lunch will be served on the way to the next settlements. You will have 3 times meal during the trek where you can enjoy the Nepali authentic food as well as more common international food such as Tibetan, Italian, Indian, European, and Chinese so no.

​Physical Fitness & Walking Experience:

If you are simply fit and have light day pack you can make this trek very easily.
