Me and my husband we are both over 40 years old we hike to Gokyo trekking with a local mountain guide (Santosh Gauli). we had 14 days time for this trek which was enough to acclimatize and city tour in Kathmandu valley. we were planning to go to Everest base camp but after we change our mind because of our guide Santosh as he said base camp trek is really crowded and busy, we were very happy to go to Gokyo trek as it is one of my best travel destinations, we could see high mountains, including mt Everest, lakes, glacier, and Gokyo RI. the entire trekking experience was just wonderful and we had a great trip, Thank you Santosh Gauli and your perfect management for our trek, I really hope we can come back again for another lovely trek.
