The Chisapani Nagarkot hiking is the best and short hiking spot near Kathmandu and is located in the northeast of Kathmandu. This trip begins after an hour’s drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal then hike up to Chisapani passes Mulkharka Tamang village and verdant forest.

If you are weak in health and don’t have time with you to go far from Kathmandu (city) then Chisapani Nagarkot hiking will be the best option for you. It is a short hike but you get to see more or less almost all countryside culture and nature within this time limit.

The most attractions on this trip are Chisapani and Nagarkot. They are situated on the top slope of the Massif Mountains where there is a stunning surrounding view of the White Mountains and many green rolling hills.

 Hot to reach Chisapani and Nagarkot?

Take a bus from Ratnapark to Sundari Jal or taxi to Sundarijal then hike up to Chisapani, spent a night, the next to Nagarkot, spent a night (there) then drive to Kathmandu. However, the entrance point of this hike is Sundarijal.

Chandragiri day hike is a newly opened nearest hike from Kathmandu to the southwest of Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, it is only a 30-minute drive to the cable car station. If you are hiking on a clear day, you have already a stunning Mountain View from the cable car station at the bottom of Chandragiri hill.

How to get to Chandragiri hill?

It is very close to the center of Kathmandu. You are staying around the center of Kathmandu then it takes about a 30-minute drive to reach Chandragiri cable car station. We arrive there are places to buy cable car tickets then cable car takes us to the Chandragiri hilltop. It is a truly stunning spot to admire the White Mountains and hills. After visiting the hilltop there are two options either you hike down to the base of the hill or take the cable car back to the same place as the drive to Kathmandu.
